In the fast-paced, competitive and often cut-throat world of professional modelling there are few reputable model agencies that can boast the level of experience, know-how, integrity and a personal touch that is needed to survive in the industry.

At Zeebra Model Management, the Sunderland only Model Agency and Model training School, Directors Michael and Anne Bell explain why their company is well placed to meet those criteria.

“At Zeebra, we not only offer established and potential models the opportunity to be added to our books, but also if they wish, the chance to enrol on our training course, in which they will over the period of ten weeks receive invaluable schooling in the art of cat walk modelling, posture techniques, the professional application of make-up and advice with regard to health, nutrition and sensible dieting. For clients who wish to pursue film and TV careers, there will be an opportunity to create a professionally tuition in drama and casting techniques.”

With over twenty years experience in the model and TV industry, Anne’s career has seen her rubbing shoulders with the likes of Nell McAndrew, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Celebrity Love Island’s Judi Shekoni while appearing in pop videos for Westlife and Blue. It is this wealth of experience that she hopes will help Zeebra stand out from the crowd. She says, “As well as securing suitable and regular employment, Zeebra aims to coach and give advice to its models. Already having modelling experience, I have hands-on approach of the industry and hope to pass this on to all who join the agency.”

Enrolment at the training school will not be exclusively to models, but for anyone who wishes to learn deportment and gain advice on how to better take care of their bodies and appearance.

Although these classes do not guarantee any participant a place on the books of Zeebra Model Management, the training school will remain an exciting project where participants can meet new people and explore their hidden talents.

A short Biography

Anne Bell the founder of Zeebra Model Management Ltd has over 18 years experience within the modelling and entertainments industry, which has given her the opportunity of working in the UK and abroad as a Singer, Actress and Model.  Anne has featured in pop Video’s for ‘Blue’ (Fly by) and ‘Westlife’ -(World of our own) and has also graced national magazines such as ‘Prima’, ‘Black Hair and Beauty’, ‘The British Hair Journal’, ‘Pride Magazine’ and ‘Brides Magazine’.  Anne has appeared in fashion shows for BBC’s Clothes Show, Vivienne Westwood and Red or Dead just to name a few. Later in Anne’s career she entered into the acting arena  undertaking contracts for LSA on behalf of Haven Holidays as an entertainer/Singer, appeared in Panto in the late nineties as Queen Rat in "Dick Whittington's Wonderful Cat" - Starring Anthony Englemann (Neighbours), performed at Portugal's Casino Solverde, as a  lady vocalist for the Jazz, Blues, Rock n Roll on behalf Belinda King Presents. Anne has also appeared in  episodes for televisions ‘As if’, ‘Family Affairs’, ‘The Crouches’ and ‘The Chief’.

Anne undertook a degree at Brunel University in Middlesex studying Music and Media Studies.  She completed her final year at The University of Sunderland in Media Studies in 2004. 

“Setting up the agency was one of my long term dreams and when the opportunity arose in obtaining a premise I jumped at the chance.  Having worked in the industry as well as having 4 years recruitment consultancy experience I feel certain that I will be able to make a success of Zeebra.  The city of Sunderland needs a model agency that can provide models and promotional staff to offer glamour and prestige to any company campaign or event.”

Zeebra Model Management Ltd will negotiate on model rates whilst remaining competitive within the market place. 

Zeebra is actively engaged in local charity fund raising and hold Model Graduation Fashion Show’s every 10 weeks, where money raised through ticket sales is donated to local and national charities.
